Northern Beaches Woodturners Open Day
Sunday 24 August 10am to 3pm
We are a local Club dedicated to fostering woodturning in a friendly and supportive environment. We have a modern fully-equipped workshop in Forestville where our Open Day will be held.
You’ll be able to see experienced woodturners in action, demonstrating how to turn various items. Feel free to chat to them while they work and ask any questions you like.
Some of our members beautifully-crafted creations will be available for you to purchase should you fall in love or are simply looking for a gift for someone.
There’ll be a lucky door prize. One of our woodturning instructors (a master turner in our book) will turn a bowl. That’s him in action below.
You may be the lucky person who gets to take his creatiion home!
You’ll see our sausage sizzle humming outside (11am-2pm). If you’re hungry you can partake or maybe you just can’t resist the smell of onions on the bbq.
