We had a stall at the Terrey Hills Makers Market on Sunday 3 May

Our Club had a stall at the Terrey Hills Makers Market on Sunday 3 May. The market has a focus on handmade, organic arts & crafts and local produce. It was a great opportunity for us to meet people who are interested in woodturning and might like to join us.
Lots of people bought our beautifully turned and finished wooden items, made from a variety of local and imported timbers – bowls, platters, pepper grinders, boxes, pens, items little people love. All lovingly made for people’s homes or great as a gift.
Our Club was present at the Royal Easter Show

Club members has great fun demonstrating at the Royal Easter Show on the first day.
Two of our members also had great success entering the various categories of woodturned items.

Two of our members brought home 8 ribbons out of 9 entries. A great result. We’re very proud of them and the quality of their work.
Top left is A BBQ Burl meat platter, a ring box, a four-sided bowl, an emerging bowl, a mallet, a fibonacci bowl, a segmented rolling pin, and lastly a mortar and pestle with a lid.
